Our New York City Symposium will take place on Saturday 28th October, 2023, 12 p.m. - 8 p.m., organised in collaboration with The Brooklyn Rail.

The event will also feature a roundtable discussion with esteemed New York School scholars Andrew Epstein, Alexandra Gold, Libbie Rifkin, and Nick Sturm, chaired by Mandana Chaffa, President of the Board at the Flow Chart Foundation, and founder and editor-in-chief of Nowruz Journal.

With huge thanks to Tony Torn and Lee Ann Brown, our symposium will be preceded on the evening of Friday 27th October by a performance of Frank O'Hara's Try! Try! at Torn Page in Chelsea.
The following week is James Schuyler's centenary, and there are (at least) three events taking place in New York to mark the occasion, at NYU, Dia Chelsea, and The Poetry Project.
