Join us for the Network's inaugural poetry reading! With a stellar line-up, this virtual event will feature readings from and conversation with Patricia Spears Jones, Eileen Myles, Elinor Nauen, Alice Notley, Maureen Owen, and Anne Waldman. Yasmine Shamma and Rona Cran will co-host.

Spring 2022 (Paris):

What We Talk About When We Talk About The New York School​. This inaugural in-person meeting of the Network will take place in Spring 2022, in collaboration with Poets & Critics and ​Université Gustave Eiffel. It will be followed by the Alice Notley Poets & Critics Symposium, organised by Olivier Brossard.

he Network for New York School Studies (NNYSS) inaugural meeting / symposium will take place on Wednesday 20 April 2022 at Université Gustave Eiffel. Please get in touch with us if you would like to present or attend. Anyone can attend this event, even if you're not presenting.  

The Poets & Critics symposium on Alice Notley’s work, in her presence, will take place on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 April 2022 at Université Gustave Eiffel.


This new schedule depends, of course, on the continued improvement of the general situation in France, and globally. All practical details will be posted on due time on the website poetscritics.org, and here.
