The New York School and Beyond: Poetry Readings and Roundtable
Saturday 27th May, 2023
Our London symposium will feature poetry readings by a number of established and up-and-coming poets, from the UK and farther afield, including Alice Notley, Denise Riley, and Charles Bernstein... It will also include a roundtable discussion, chaired by Geoff Ward. The theme for the day's reading and discussion is, loosely, what the New York School (as ever, broadly conceived) gives rise to, makes possible, shapes and informs, or is meaningfully adjacent to or aligned with. In keeping with our ethos, the day will be informally-run, and will provide a shared space for conversation, listening, and friendship.
- We are not issuing a Call for Papers for this event.
- Everyone is welcome to attend. There will not be a registration fee.
- Venue: Senate House, University of London
